As the Andy Williams song goes: ‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year’, but for many of us – although we may be looking forward to celebrating the season of goodwill – shopping during the build-up to Christmas is a stressful experience.

From making sure all the presents are bought to having enough figgy pudding to go around the table, it’s important to be aware of what you can do to reduce your stress levels physically, as a healthy body leads to a healthy mind.

Depending on the size of your Christmas shopping – meaning whether you do it all in one go, or do you do it little by little – remember to reduce the physical stress in your body by evenly spreading your shopping across both hands.

If your shopping spree is going to consist of lots of heavy items bought at the same time, it’s a good idea to take along a hand luggage wheel bag to help carry some of that weight; the last thing you want to do is to hurt your back in the run-up to Christmas!

If you’re unsure whether you’re out of alignment, give your body a Christmas present and contact us on 01925 411005 – quoting ‘FEEL GOOD’ – to claim a FREE patient consultation usually worth £48 (available until 31 January 2018).
